Nokian Tyres Adds 17.5R25 Ground King Loader Tire

Nokian Tyres has expanded its Ground King Loader tire family with a new 17.5R25 size for wheel loaders.

The tire is designed for use across varying terrain and is suited for tasks involving gravel, compost, and soil. The company said it provides load-bearing capacity and traction when operating with heavy loads.

Agricultural Applications

The Ground King Loader is also intended for agricultural work, including loading seeders and handling silage. According to Nokian Tyres, the tire's design allows it to be used across different types of farm work and terrain.

The tire uses Nokian Tyres' Hybrilug technology, which combines the stability and durability of a traditional block pattern with the grip of a lug pattern on soft and loose surfaces.

“The Hybrilug blocks enable stable, vibration-free handling, while the lugs improve grip in mud and on other soft terrains,” says Mikko Pukkila, product manager at Nokian Tyres. “Together, these features make Ground King Loader a reliable tire for variable conditions, even in tight spaces that demand precise and predictable control.”

Road and Worksite Use

The tire has a radial structure and reinforced shoulder area designed to support driving with heavy loads and during higher-speed road transits.

Nokian Tyres said the Ground King Loader provides stability, comfort, and low noise during worksite and road use. The tire is available in 20.5R25 and 17.5R25 sizes, with the new 17.5R25 size available for order immediately.

The company's heavy-duty tires, treads, and wheels are manufactured in Finland.
