New Holland Expands Compact Wheel Loader Lineup With Three New D-Series Models

New Holland Construction has introduced three new D-Series Compact Wheel Loaders, expanding its lineup with the W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach models. The machines are scheduled to become available in the third quarter of 2026 and are designed for landscaping, construction, material handling and agricultural applications.

The new models build on the W100D Compact Wheel Loader, which debuted in 2025, and bring the redesigned cab and updated operator features to additional machine sizes. The W70D and W80D models use a mid-sized frame, while the W100D remains the largest machine in the lineup.

For agricultural operations, the new compact wheel loaders are designed to handle tasks such as moving feed, cleaning barns, handling hay and transporting materials around the farm.

“Segments like landscaping and construction crews are expected to accomplish more than ever in a single day, while often times moving between multiple jobsites and changing up applications multiple times,” said Dan Kakareka, product manager for New Holland Construction North America. “The new W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach Compact Wheel Loaders give crews the ability to perform more tasks with a single machine, helping businesses make the most out of their time, labor and equipment investment.”

The loaders feature a hydraulic skid steer-style coupler that allows operators to change attachments from inside the cab. Compatible attachments include buckets, pallet forks, tree spades and bale spears, allowing a single machine to perform multiple jobs throughout the day.

New Holland also redesigned the cab to improve operator comfort and visibility. The cab includes a heated air-ride seat with integrated joystick controls, a larger windshield and a new display mounted on the right-side A-pillar that places machine information within the operator's line of sight.

The machines also include features intended to improve productivity, including ride control, cruise control, creep mode, return-to-dig, return-to-dump and return-to-travel functions. Operators can also adjust boom and bucket response speeds to suit different applications and experience levels.

Travel speeds of up to 25 miles per hour allow operators to move between work areas more quickly, according to New Holland.

The W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach also include a rearview camera, backup alarm and LED lighting package. Each machine comes with seven years of telematics connectivity through myNewHollandConstruction, providing access to machine location, operating hours, maintenance schedules and equipment health information.

Ordering opens in the third quarter of 2026 through New Holland Construction dealerships.
