AGCO Corporation has opened nominations for the ninth annual Massey Ferguson Sowing Good Deeds contest, which honors Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) rodeo committees for their contributions to local communities, agriculture, and youth organizations. The contest will run through October 3, 2025.

Finalists will be announced on October 24, 2025, and the grand prize winner will be named during the PRCA Awards Banquet in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 3, 2025. The top prize includes a new Massey Ferguson tractor with loader, valued at over $60,000.

“Rodeos play a crucial role in the cultural and economic landscape of America, yet they often go underappreciated,” said Matt LeCroy, director, sales West for Massey Ferguson North America. “These groups dedicate themselves to uplifting their communities — not only by boosting local economies but also by supporting agricultural youth programs like FFA and 4-H, which are essential to the future of our industry. The Sowing Good Deeds initiative highlights the generosity and hard work of rodeo committees across the country. We’re honored to celebrate these dedicated individuals who generously contribute their time and skills to strengthen agricultural communities.”

Open to all PRCA-sanctioned rodeo committees in the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, the contest evaluates participants on community involvement, entrepreneurial spirit and their ability to overcome challenges. Entries must include essays describing each committee’s impact through volunteerism, community programs and initiatives to create positive change.

“PRCA-sanctioned rodeos collectively raise millions of dollars each year for local charities across the United States,” said Tom Glause, CEO of the PRCA. “Our collaboration with Massey Ferguson’s Sowing Good Deeds program provides a meaningful platform to recognize and reward the outstanding charitable work of our committees. With more than 600 committees nationwide, we are immensely proud of their unwavering commitment to agriculture and the communities they serve.”
