Handy Rents Opens New Facility to Serve Portage and Summit Counties

Eastlake, Ohio-based Handy Rents has expanded its regional presence with the opening of a new location in Streetsboro. The locally owned rental company now operates seven locations across Northeast Ohio, with the new branch positioned to better serve rural contractors, landowners and DIYers throughout Portage and Summit Counties.

“With excellent visibility from the highway and immediate access to major routes, our Streetsboro location is set to become a strategic hub for Handy Rents," said Patrick Miller, president. "The nearly 13,000-square-foot facility situated on 2.5 acres gives us the space and flexibility to better serve both homeowners and contractors in the Streetsboro, Aurora, Hudson, Kent and Twinsburg markets. This expansion enhances our ability to reach more customers quickly while strengthening our brand presence across Northeast Ohio."

Previously home to an equipment dealership, the newly renovated location features a full line of equipment and tool rentals, including brands such as John Deere, Kubota, Husqvarna, Genie and Haulotte.

A grand opening ceremony took place on July 16, 2025, with local officials, customers and community members attending. The event included facility tours, demonstrations and giveaways.

Handy Rents supports a variety of needs, from farm and property maintenance to tree care and excavation work. Equipment available includes lawn and garden tools, boom lifts, backhoes and contractor supplies.
