Fendt Unveils Three New Farm Equipment Models

Fendt introduced three new equipment models at the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, on September 1. The company unveiled the 1100 Vario MT Gen2 track tractor and Momentum 80-Foot Planter, along with the North American debut of the 300 Vario Gen5 tractor series.

The announcements include new options for high-horsepower applications, large-scale planting, and compact tractor operations.

Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2

The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor is the company’s most powerful tractor equipped with a VarioDrive transmission, according to Fendt.

The tractor features a reinforced transmission to accommodate increased horsepower. Fendt’s VarioDrive and Fendt iD low-speed concepts are designed to combine power reserves and power transfer with fuel efficiency.

The tractor also features SmartRide suspension technology. A steerable drawbar or three-point system actively moves based on steering input to increase tractive power and maneuverability.

A new cab includes the FendtONE operating system, updated controls, technology integration, and a new lighting system intended to improve visibility in the field. A passive cab air filter cleaning system continuously removes dust to reduce maintenance requirements.

The 1100 Vario MT Gen2 is backed by Fendt’s Gold Star Customer Care program, which includes three years or 3,000 hours of warranty coverage, scheduled maintenance, loaner availability, and a parts guarantee.

Momentum 80-Foot Planter

Fendt also introduced the Momentum 80-Foot, 32-Row Planter with 30-inch spacing, designated the 32R30. It is the largest Momentum planter offered by Fendt.

The planter has standard 130-bushel seed and 1,000-gallon fertilizer tanks. Fendt said the capacity is intended to allow the planter to cover more acres per day while reducing the frequency of tendering.

The 32R30 combines SmartFrame technology, factory-integrated Precision Planting systems, and optional Load Logic weight management. A new five-section Vertically Contouring Toolbar is designed to improve planting accuracy across rolling and uneven terrain.

"Large-scale growers need to cover more acres in tighter windows without sacrificing the precision that drives yield potential," said Jason Lee, senior marketing manager, planters, Fendt North America. "The Fendt Momentum 32R30 maximizes agronomic performance and efficiency to achieve better yields, making every seed count."

Gold Star Customer Care coverage for the planter is three years or 16,000 acres, whichever occurs first.

Fendt 300 Vario Gen5

The Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 tractor series adds five models, including the new 310 Vario.

The 310 Vario delivers 113 to 152 horsepower with DynamicPerformance (DP). The DP system is now available across the series and automatically supplies an additional 10 horsepower for auxiliary functions such as air conditioning.

All models feature the FendtONE operating system and Gold Star Customer Care. Optional smart farming technologies include guidance, ISOBUS, telemetry, and automated headland management.

The updated tractors also feature the latest-generation Cargo and Cargo Profi front loaders, supported by a hydraulic system with independent valves. Other updates include GroundVision lighting for night work, a redesigned hood with daytime running lights, and a swivel seat.

"The Gen5 packs all of that into a compact size with an intuitive, high-tech driver's station that puts farmers first."

When Farmers Can Order

The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 and 300 Vario Gen5 are now available for order, with first deliveries beginning in 2027.

The Momentum 80-Foot Planter will open to limited orders in fall 2026, with deliveries scheduled to begin in spring 2027.

Fendt also announced a new 60 kilometer per hour (40 mile per hour) transport option scheduled for late 2026. The 500 Vario Gen4 and 800 Vario Gen5 also made their first appearances at the Farm Progress Show.
