Case IH has launched the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series, a new strip-till tool designed to support soil conservation while maintaining yield potential.

The Nutri-Tiller 1000 series expands the Case IH soil management portfolio and is built to combine the benefits of no-till and conventional tillage. According to the company, the strip-till system reduces the number of field passes required, which may help lower operating costs and improve efficiency.

What the Nutri-Tiller 1000 Series Does

The strip-till tool creates a uniform soil strip and berm shape intended to promote strong early crop emergence. By forming a consistent seedbed environment, the system aims to encourage earlier soil temperature warming and more consistent moisture conditions at planting.

“The Nutri-Tiller 1000 series is designed to deliver exceptional tillage results while championing long-term soil health and conservation,” said CJ Parker, soil management marketing manager at Case IH. “By minimizing compaction and leaving protective residue between the strips, it enhances the soil's nutrient utilization — helping farmers protect their soil while supporting strong yield potential.”

In-Cab Control and Precision Technology

The Nutri-Tiller 1000 series provides in-cab control of residue managers, row unit down pressure, strip keepers and berm conditioning through independent down pressure control. This allows operators to adjust settings without stopping in the field.

The tool integrates with Case IH FieldOps for guidance line management and prescription creation. Active Implement Guidance is designed to help maintain accurate planting within strip-till passes. All functions are managed through the Pro 1200 display, which is intended to help reduce overlap and improve input placement accuracy.

For producers considering strip-till systems, the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series focuses on:

  • Reducing field passes compared to conventional tillage
  • Supporting soil health through residue management and reduced compaction
  • Promoting uniform emergence through consistent berm formation
  • Integrating precision technology for guidance and input management

The Nutri-Tiller 1000 series will be showcased at Commodity Classic in San Antonio, Texas, February 25 to 27.
