AGCO Restructures Executive Leadership Team
AGCO restructures its executive team, with Stefan Caspari taking global leadership of Fendt, Valtra, and Product Management.
AGCO Corporation has restructured its executive leadership team, consolidating several responsibilities under existing senior leaders and reducing the team by one member.
Effective October 5, Stefan Caspari, previously senior vice president, customer success & North America ag, became senior vice president and general manager, Fendt/Valtra & product management. He will continue leading AGCO’s North American agricultural business while taking on global leadership of Fendt and Valtra.
Fendt and Valtra Leadership
Caspari joined AGCO in 2014 and has held senior leadership positions involving commercial operations, global strategy, smart farming technology, and multi-brand governance.
Before leading Customer Success & North America Ag, he oversaw AGCO’s grain & protein business through its transformation and divestiture.
“Stefan is a proven commercial leader with deep experience across farmers, dealers and regional execution,” said Eric Hansotia, AGCO's chairman, president & CEO. “He has strengthened our North American ag business in one of AGCO's most important markets, and he brings the commercial discipline, Farmer-First focus and market insight needed to lead Fendt and Valtra through their next phase of growth. I also want to thank Torsten for his contributions over many years and his passionate leadership. He has played an important role strengthening AGCO's Fendt and Valtra brands, building the teams and capabilities behind them, contributing valuably to their position in the market, and helping advance our AI transformation. We wish him well in the future.”
Torsten Dehner, senior vice president and general manager, global Fendt/Valtra and product management, stepped down from his role on October 5. He will remain with AGCO in Switzerland to support the transition.
Caspari holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Bonn and graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
Additional Leadership Changes
The restructuring also brings related responsibilities together under Luis Felli and Damon Audia.
Felli will become senior vice president and general manager, Massey Ferguson, parts & customer support. His responsibilities will expand to include AGCO’s global aftersales and parts organization and customer support.
Audia will become president, PTx, corporate strategy & distribution, adding responsibility for AGCO’s global distribution Management organization.
AGCO said the changes consolidate related responsibilities and give the executives accountability for business performance and company-wide functions, connecting those functions more directly to brand execution, dealer performance, and growth priorities.
